Veterans Day Program

Under the direction of the music teachers, our 5th grade students perform a wonderful musical tribute to honor our veterans. All Crestline students are encouraged to invite a veteran to be honored in the program. Many parents, grandparents, friends, and relatives come to the school each year to be honored by our students. On the day of the program, a light breakfast is served to our veterans. Each student that has invited a veteran to attend is asked to come up front during the program and present a flag and often a quick hug. This is a special event at Crestline, and we hope you will consider honoring the veterans in your life.

In 2021 and 2020 this event occurred as the Salute to Veterans Celebration Tour. As a car parade featuring veterans and their families, the fifth grade performed on the drums and each grade level waved and cheered along the route.
