TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK

 March 2nd-6th

The committee has planned various daily treats for the teachers, staff and administration culminating with a lunch on Friday.  There will not be anything done as a class, but we encourage you to remember not only your individual teachers, but also the specials teachers, custodial staff, kitchen staff and administration.  You can do anything small such as flowers, small gift cards (such as starbucks, gas card, target), small treats, a note from your child, etc…

Let’s shower the teachers and staff with love so they know how much we appreciate what they do for our children!

Thank you to everyone that is continuing to clip and submit online Boxtops! Every little bit helps and can add up with a little effort from a lot people.

If you have not already, please download the app at boxtops4education.com The website and app also show all the bonus offers they have. You can forward any online shopping receipts to them (shipt, Walmart, etc)

We have a submission deadline coming up March 1st, so please send in any paper boxtops you have at home as soon as you can! Thanks again!

  • ELM ST. & MEADOWBROOK: remember- the RIGHT side of both streets is for DROP OFF ONLY in the mornings. If you need to park for any reason, lease park on the LEFT side of the street and use the crosswalk. INFORMATION

VOLUNTEER TO HELP IN CLASSROOMS: From time to time, teachers have meetings during the day which pulls them from the classroom. We rely on parent volunteers to help in the classrooms during these times! If you are interesting in helping, email Lauren Baugh at laurenmcbaugh@gmail.com

RAPTOR: The Mountain Brook School System has a new check in procedure that requires you to check in with your driver's license. Anytime you come to the school (lunch, mystery reader, volunteer work, etc.), you must have your license with you! Please help us keep our kids safe.

CRESTLINE LIBRARY: The Crestline Library relies on parent volunteers to help shelve books that are checked in each week. Volunteering in the library is a flexible commitment and is an easy way to get involved. The librarians are so appreciative of the support that comes from the volunteers! Sign up to help HERE

BOXTOPS & PLANET FUNDRAISER: Download the Boxtops and Planet Fundraiser apps to have everyday purchases give cash back to our schools!

 It wouldn't happen without you!

Special Thanks to all volunteers!

Meredith Haughton, Kenan Ashurst and Liz Rich for a great Circle of Friends Week
