What an amazing BOOSTERTHON week we have had! The students worked hard, ran strong and succeeded! They were all so excited to see the principals get slimed but, most of all, they were pumped about helping their school!
Together we raised $70,309
That is AMAZING and will outfit 20+ classrooms with new, Viewsonic interactive smart boards!!

PUMPKIN RUN -Sunday, October 13, 2:00- is one of the two races that the PE Department facilitates every year is used for state mandated fitness testing. This is a great way for us to test a large amount of students without taking up valuable time in class. Fall Festival will take place on Friday, November 1st from 1-3 pm. A parent or other responsible adult must be with your child when the bell rings at 1:00 until it ends at 3:00. Be sure your child knows where to meet you! The sign up genius for class booths will be sent out in the next week. Please be on the lookout for it from your room mom. We couldn’t run the Fall Festival without you!
WRISTBANDS & TICKETS: Order wristbands online at http://www.crestlinepto.com! Orders will bedue Friday 10/25. Each wristband is $30 and covers all activities at Fall Festival plus 3 food items. All children of Cougar Contributors Silver Level and up will automatically receive wristbands. Wristbands and tickets can be bought at the event beginning at 12:30 pm. But remember, buying in advance saves you time and money! Wristbands are $35 on the day of event.
Veterans Day Program: Do you have a special person in your life that has bravely served our Country in the Armed Forces? Now is your chance to honor their service and say “Thank You”! The Veterans Day Program will be held on Friday, November 11th at 8:30a.m. It is a wonderful tradition each year at Crestline! The 5th graders have worked hard with our music teachers to put together a wonderful program. ALL Students are invited to honor a special veteran. The deadline to submit an honoree is Friday, October 25th. If you would like to honor a veteran, please complete the online registration form here. Questions? RAPTOR: The Mountain Brook School System has a new check in procedure that requires you to check in with your driver's license. Anytime you come to the school (lunch, mystery reader, volunteer work, etc.), you must have your license with you! Please help us keep our kids safe.
CRESTLINE LIBRARY: The Crestline Library relies on parent volunteers to help shelve books that are checked in each week. Volunteering in the library is a flexible commitment and is an easy way to get involved. The librarians are so appreciative of the support that comes from the volunteers! Sign up to help HERE
BOXTOPS: Boxtops will be moving to all digital submissions soon. There will be more to come on how to submit those in next month’s ENews. For now, please send in all of the Boxtops you clipped over the summer. You can submit them to your homeroom teacher.
BAHAMAS HURRICANE RELIEF: A group of students, supported by the Junior High Spartan Council, has organized a Bahamian Relief Clothing Drive to assist individuals and families in the Bahamas who are recovering from the effects of Hurricane Dorian. Please consider donating used or new adult/children shoes, clothing, and diapers. We will be collecting through the next two weeks. Contact Gincie Upton at 205-447-8867 for details.

Established in 1992, community leaders created an Endowment Fund to ensure the long-term protection of our amazing school system. It funds technology, professional development and library enhancements.
Thanks to all who voted at the polls and helped pass the ad valorum tax increase! This increase will enable the board of education to improve our school facilities, address concerns related to the safety and well-being of our students and prepare our students for their future.
